Rahul holds a Master of Science degree in International Hospitality and Tourism from Sheffield Hallam University. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated proficiency in various aspects of hotel management, including food and beverage, sales, and hospitality industry dynamics.
Prior to joining Accor, Rahul served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Marriott International and Grand Mercure Bangalore, where he played instrumental roles in driving sales growth and enhancing brand visibility. He has also held positions at Radisson Hotel Group and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where he honed his skills in sales management and relationship development.
With a track record of achieving key performance indicators, conducting market analysis, and implementing effective business strategies, Rahul brings a strategic mindset to his new role at Accor. His skill set includes expertise in business planning, customer acquisition, negotiation, digital marketing, and team management.
In his new capacity, Rahul will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts for Accor in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. His extensive experience and leadership capabilities are expected to contribute significantly to the company’s growth and success in the region.
