IHCL Unveils Plans for Taj Hotel in Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has officially declared the signing of a Taj hotel in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, marking a significant stride in its strategic expansion across India’s pivotal business and leisure destinations. Positioned as a Greenfield project, this upcoming venture is set to be one of Central India’s largest convention facilities.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, expressed enthusiasm about this strategic move, stating, “This signing aligns with IHCL’s vision to broaden its presence in key regions across the country. Indore, recognized as the commercial and financial hub of central India, provides an ideal canvas for our expansion. We take pride in introducing our diverse brand portfolio to the city and are thrilled to collaborate with Manikaran Commercials Private Limited for this project.”

The 350-key Taj Hotel is strategically located along the new Super Corridor, offering proximity to crucial IT campuses and convenient access to major industrial hubs and leisure destinations. The hotel promises a gastronomic journey with options ranging from an all-day dining restaurant to a specialty restaurant, a bar, and a lobby lounge. Beyond culinary delights, guests can indulge in a wide array of leisure and recreational activities, including a swimming pool, spa, fitness center, and various sports and entertainment options.

Highlighting its potential as a premier convention center in Central India, the property boasts approximately 50,000 square feet of versatile banqueting and event spaces.
