“Food industry is all about innovation, creativity, fusion and what new can we get on the plate to excite our food connoisseurs & guests. Collaboration like this only gives us opportunities to discover more & show our Chef’s talent, hence we hope to bring a unique twist to some of our favourite Goan bites this time ” said Surajit Chatterjee, General Manager, Holiday Inn Goa Candolim.
The guests will be able to experience a distinctive fusion of two cultures. Few highlights from the menu include Singhara, Kochuri, Prawns cutlets, Pan Rolls, Cutlet Pao, Alle Belle, Kokum Sandesh and more – each with a unique twist that will intrigue your palate and entice you with heart-warming flavours. What’s more these will be paired with a variety of teas like Lebu chai of Bengal and more to further elevate your experience.
Speaking about the event, Mini Ribeiro said, “I am delighted to be hosting my very first Pop up in Goa, at The Holiday Inn Goa Candolim. ‘Cha Piyonk Yo’, an Afternoon Tea expirience, is in a way an extension of my cookbook, ‘Magical Twists: East meets West’ as, my recipes are my twists, to a Goan dish with Bengali ingredients and vice versa. Creating these dishes based on my recipes, in the kitchen with Executive Chef Shibraj and his talented team was fun. The offerings are perfect for the Monsoon season and are bound to entice your palate.”
