Treebo Hospitality Ventures (THV) has announced the signing of a new Mercure hotel in Siliguri, West Bengal, under its master franchise agreement with Accor and InterGlobe. This development brings Accor’s globally acclaimed midscale brand to one of East India’s most important business and transit hubs, serving both corporate and leisure travellers bound for North Bengal, Sikkim, and the Northeast.
Often referred to as the Gateway to the Eastern Himalayas, Siliguri connects vital regions including Darjeeling, North Bengal, Sikkim, and the Northeastern states. With its growing prominence as a commercial and leisure destination, the city attracts a diverse mix of travellers — from business professionals and project teams to families and adventure seekers. The upcoming Mercure Siliguri will cater to these segments through internationally benchmarked hospitality paired with a locally inspired design that captures the warmth and vibrancy of the region.
Featuring 50 well-appointed rooms, the hotel will offer a multi-cuisine restaurant, modern meeting and banquet spaces, and comprehensive amenities designed for both corporate and leisure guests. Its central location will ensure convenience for business travellers while offering families and tourists a premium and comfortable stay in one of East India’s fastest-growing cities.
With domestic travel on the rise and travellers increasingly seeking branded, reliable experiences, Mercure Siliguri will meet this demand by blending global standards of comfort and service with authentic local character.
The signing marks another milestone in the THV–Accor master franchise partnership with InterGlobe, which aims to accelerate the expansion of world-class midscale hotels across India’s emerging markets. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to quality, operational excellence, and community-rooted hospitality.
