We are delighted to announce the promotion of Ibrahim Farraj as the General Manager of InterContinental Aqaba Resort, effective September 2025.
Ibrahim brings with him over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, primarily within the IHG family. Most recently, he has been serving as Acting General Manager at InterContinental Aqaba, where he has led the team with dedication and professionalism during a critical renovation phase.
Prior to that, he held the role of Hotel Manager at Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea, where he successfully achieved all winning metrics for 2023 and completed the IHG Journey to GM Program in 2024. He also led the planning of the property renovation, scheduled to start this year.
Throughout his career, Ibrahim has held several leadership roles across InterContinental Jordan, InterContinental Aqaba, and other renowned luxury brands including Kempinski and Marriott. His diverse background across top-tier properties has given him a deep understanding of luxury service standards, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
