Dnyaneshwar Ghumare embarks on a new journey as the Executive Housekeeper at JW Marriott Chandigarh, bringing with him a wealth of expertise garnered from his illustrious career of 13 years in the hospitality industry.
Prior to his appointment at JW Marriott Chandigarh, Ghumare served as the Housekeeping Manager at The Westin Pune, where he directed and controlled all housekeeping operations, ensuring consistently high operating standards in every aspect of housekeeping and laundry services.
In his new role, Ghumare will oversee the overall cleanliness and aesthetic upkeep of JW Marriott Chandigarh, maintaining high operating standards and creating standard operating procedures aligned with the hotel’s service standards. His responsibilities include budgeting, expense control, inventory management, and team leadership.
Commenting on his appointment, Ghumare expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am thrilled to join JW Marriot tChandigarh as the Executive Housekeeper. I look forward to upholding the hotel’s reputation for excellence in cleanliness and service and contributing to its continued success.”
Ghumare holds a High School Diploma in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Mumbai and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from MIT School of Distance Education, Pune. He possesses a diverse skill set in operations management, people development, leadership, planning, human resources, and team management.
With a remarkable track record spanning over a decade, Ghumare’s dedication and commitment have been recognized through numerous awards and nominations. He was bestowed with the prestigious ‘You Have Been Great’ award by Intercontinental Hotel Group in 2013 and received accolades for his outstanding service during the pre-opening phase of JW Marriott, Mumbai, Sahar. Mr. Ralph Frehner, Vice President of Food and Beverage, Asia Pacific at Marriott International, commended Ghumare for his exceptional service in May 2015, further solidifying his reputation as a hospitality stalwart.
