In a strategic move, Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis has appointed Karthika Anil as its Human Resources Manager. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in the hospitality sector, Karthika brings a wealth of experience and passion to her new role.
Karthika’s journey in the hospitality industry commenced in 2018 as an intern at Radisson Blu, Deira Creek. Over the years, she has immersed herself in various departments, including front office, meetings & events, sales, F&B, and reservations, showcasing a diverse skill set.
Drawing inspiration from her father, a seasoned hotelier, Karthika expressed that hospitality is in her blood. Reflecting on her childhood, she stated, “Being surrounded by the energy of hotels ignited my passion for the industry. I’ve always been fascinated by the ‘behind the scenes’ magic of creating memorable guest experiences.”
Stuart Birkwood, General Manager at Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis, praised Anil’s exceptional qualities, calling her a “rockstar” with a promising career ahead. Karthika Anil’s impact on the team has been significant, contributing to elevating employee engagement scores from 78 percent to 86 percent and enablement scores from 88 percent to 93 percent within just one year.
Karthika sees her role as pivotal, emphasizing dedication and leadership qualities in her HR journey. She shared, “The best part of my job is witnessing the growth of individuals within our team. Being able to contribute to their career journeys and seeing them flourish is truly fulfilling.”
