Ramada Downtown Dubai hires head chef Fadul AlKassem
Ramada Downtown Dubai has brought in a new head chef as it looks to rejuvenate its main restaurant Kenza.
Fadul Alkassem will look after the venue, responsible for launching new themed nights and revamping the Friday brunch. Working with the wider food and beverage team, he will also handle in-room dining across the hotel.
After months of being restricted, brunches were allowed to resume in Dubai restaurants and hotels earlier in May. Each weekend, thousands of people flock to these brunches, making their resumption warmly welcomed across the industry.
Samir Arora, cluster general manager of Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai, The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel and ibis Styles Jumeira, commented: “We congratulate Chef Fadul on his new role at Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai.
“The hotel continuously seeks to elevate the dining experience of our guests, and his forte on Middle Eastern cuisine suitably matches the GCC clientele of the property while still allowing visitors from different parts of the globe to savour authentic flavours from this region. We are looking forward to welcoming loyal guests, and UAE and international foodies to try our new food and beverage offers.”
Prior to his new position, Alkassem worked at The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel, as well as the Tamani Marina Hotel, Abu Dhabi National Hotels, and Holiday Inn Al Barsha. In total he has more than 15 years of experience across the GCC and Levant.
