Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences appoints Ashwin Vaidya as Director of Rooms
Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences has announced the appointment of Ashwin Vaidya as Director of Rooms effective April 19, 2021.
With 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Vaidya’s endeavour is to utilize his rich knowledge to strengthen the Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences front office operations and strategies towards elevating guest experiences and upholding the Brand standards.
Vaidya began his career 2008 years ago as a Front Office associate appointed through the OCER Program at The Oberoi, Mumbai. He has worked across Marriott Hotels in Mumbai, Goa and Pune with his recent assignment at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel.
As a proud recipient of the ‘Hotelier Award 2016’ for Director of Rooms 2016 and Rooms Division Leader of the Year Award 2017 for Asia Pacific Marriott International on joining Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences - Ashwin states, “It’s an iconic landmark in the city of Mumbai and I am certainly excited for this new beginning!”
Besides his passion for the hospitality space, Vaidya's love for driving has the sub terrain of India to travel as his next immediate personal goal. He enjoys spending quality time with his daughter and pet dog.
