Uygar Koçaş
Multi-Property General Manager, Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler & Sheraton Istanbul Levent
Born in Ankara in 1974, Uygar Koçaş graduated from Ankara University Business Management Department in 1996. In 2000, he completed the Utah University Hotel and Hospitality Training Institute Hospitality Management Specialization Certificate Program, and in 2014 the Koç University Executive MBA program. He is married and has two children.
Throughout his career, he gained experience in different levels of the industry, starting from the bellboy position. Koçaş, who started working as a Sales Manager at Club Flipper in 1994, was appointed as Sales Director at Club Dedeman, Front Office Manager and Sales and Marketing Manager at Shilo Inn Suites Hotel (Salt Lake City, UT, USA), and at Wyndham Hotel ( He worked as Assistant Front Office Manager at Salt Lake City, UT, USA), Guest Relations Manager at Wyndham Hotel (DTC, Denver, CO, USA) and Front Office Manager at The Marmara Taksim. Koçaş became the General Manager of The Marmara Antalya in 2006 and became The Marmara Pera General Manager in 2008 and The Marmara Bodrum General Manager with his ongoing duty in 2011. In 2012, he was appointed as The Marmara Bodrum, Antalya and Şişli Regional General Manager. Between 2014 and 2016, he worked as the General Manager of The Marmara Taksim and Esma Sultan Mansion.
Koçaş, who has been serving as the General Manager of Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler within the body of Marriott International since 2016, takes an active role in many organizations related to the tourism sector and serves on the board of directors of TÜROB. Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler, of which he was the General Manager, was awarded the "Hotel of the Year 2017" in the prestigious "Marriott International General Manager Awards" European Region Main Brands category.

With close to 2 decades in the industry, Eda joins the newly opened Sheraton Istanbul Levent. Starting her Joirney in 2007, Has grown through the ranks to take on this exceptional job. Has built her career through her stints in Accor & Marriott international over the years.

Born in Naples, Italy and graduated from Luigi de Medici di Ottaviano Hotel Management Institute, Giovanni Terracciano got his start in Hotel Lido in Toscana as commis de cuisine in 1990. After gaining experience at some of the hotels and Michelin star restaurants in Italy, Terracciano moved to Indonesia, Oman, Japan, Istanbul and China. In 2008 the lure of Istanbul drew him to Turkey, taking up the position of Executive Chef at five star hotels and renowned restaurants.
