Jeremy Canivet elevated as EAM in charge of Sales, Marketing and PR
Canivet has been in hospitality for two decades, starting out in Toronto, Canada within sales. In 2002 he moved to Westin in the city where he acted as sales manager. After a role with Fairmont in Calgary, he moved to the Middle East in 2010 where he stayed ever since.
He’s been with Ritz-Carlton for close to three years, first as the DOSM. Since his time in Bahrain he has been commended for his commitment to the role and talent in the field of sales and marketing. His new role will see him continue to head up the departments, while also running the hotel in the absence of the general manager Bernard de Villèle.
