Nilesh Singh Appointed General Manager at Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa
The upcoming most anticipated hotel debut in the Maldives, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa has appointed Nilesh Singh as General Manager.
Responsible for all property operations, Nilesh in his new position will work closely with department heads in developing and in the implementation of revenue inducing strategies to deliver products and services that meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the guests, as well as employees.
A hotel management graduate from Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, Nilesh has filled several managerial roles related to Food & Beverage across renowned properties of Oberoi Hotels and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
Prior to his latest appointment as General Manager of Le Méridien Maldives, Nilesh worked as Hotel Manager at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur.
Set in a picturesque corner of Lhaviyani Atoll nestled on Thilamaafushi Island, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa will be opening its gates for visitors in September 2021.
Spanning 9 hectares, the island is an eco-conscious haven abundant with indigenous flora and fauna and is enveloped by a shimmering lagoon and coral reefs bursting with vibrant marine life including pods of Manta Rays and turtles. This new Maldives hideaway will offer 50 dive sites for marine enthusiasts to explore and six culinary experiences - including an overwater restaurant.
Designed with family stays in mind, children will delight in the Le Meridien Family concept, an immersive world where tinkering and exploring are celebrated.
