  Julia Neuhold appointed as General Manager of JO & JOE Vienna

  The opening of the new JO & JOE, an Accor brand, at Vienna's Westbahnhof is planned for autumn 2021. The management of the innovative house was recently established: On May 3, 2021, Julia Neuhold will take up her position as General Manager of JO & JOE Vienna. Neuhold, 32, will be responsible for all operational processes as the hotel manager and lead a team of around 30 people.

  Julia Neuhold has extensive experience in the industry and most recently managed Wombat's City Hostel "The Naschmarkt" as General Manager in Vienna. Before moving to the hostel on Vienna's Naschmarkt in April 2017, Neuhold was already working as an assistant manager at Wombat's City Hostel "The Lounge", which is located in the immediate vicinity of Vienna's Westbahnhof.

  Born in Graz, she switched from communication to hospitality and after graduating from high school, she completed a bachelor's degree in communications - including a semester abroad in Finland - and then a master's degree at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences of WKW “Leadership in Tourism” . In 2015, today's Viennese by choice began her tourism career at the JUFA Hotel Graz, only to move to Vienna a year later within the company.

  JO & JOE Vienna will move into the upper two floors of the new IKEA at Vienna's Westbahnhof. The IKEA store is managed by the Finn Johanna Cederlöf as Market Manager , who places a strong focus on sustainability. Cederlöf wants to create new customer experiences and business opportunities and create a second, green living room in the middle of the city. Thus, the building at Vienna's Westbahnhof is not only completely under female management, the visions of the two managers are also in harmony: The innovative house is to become an oasis in the Viennese urban jungle, with a green facade and plenty of space for people - the roof terrace in the last The first floor of the house with a magnificent view is open to the public.

  The JO & JOE Vienna will open its doors at Vienna's Westbahnhof this autumn and offer an exciting hospitality concept: a mixture of hostel and hotel that aims to bring travelers and Viennese together and create new, unique experiences. The restaurant and bar are open to everyone and offer an attractive gastronomic offer at affordable prices. There will also be concerts and events in the JO & JOE open house where everyone is welcome.

  The concept is tailored to the needs of a young target group, as well as families and business travelers. A total of 75 rooms are available to guests at JO & JOE Vienna. In addition to the dormitory-like rooms, the so-called togethers, you can also book yours, two or three-bed rooms with a private bathroom.
