Janitha Madawala, an accomplished hotelier, with more than 15 years of hospitality experience joins The Thinnai team as Group General Manager, further strengthening it to serve you better. He has a strong background in food and beverages that helped set up award-winning operations at various domestic and international hotel brands. His multi-property operational experience, leadership skills and comprehensive understanding of the business, we believe, will without doubt guide The Thinnai brand of hotels forward.
His skills in managing operations for business hotels, resorts, retail, airlines, and cruise lines, plus the exposure gained with guests of differing nationalities, holds him in good stead to lead our uniquely appointed hospitality venues, forward. Janitha is a graduate of Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, where he majored in international hospitality management, specialising in food and beverages.
Furthermore, Janitha is qualified in CFBE by AHLEI in the USA. He is a member of Institute of Hospitality in UK, a fellow member of Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association in Sri Lanka, and a senior member of Emirates Culinary Guild in UAELocated conveniently within city limits in a calm serenity of lush greenery surroundings, the thirty-nine suites at The Thinnai are comfortably and tastefully appointed with earth tone relaxing interior décor for a peaceful ambience.
The suites come in six different configurations, starting with the Vaalai offering a single bedroom suite with a private balcony or verandah and ending with the Mallihai, which has 2 bedrooms, 2 washrooms, a verandah, a balcony, a kitchen and a private jacuzzi.
