Intercontinental Al Jubail appointed Karim Abdelhamid as General Manager
Karims extraordinary background includes over twenty three years in luxury divisions of hospitality industry. In this capacity as a General Manager of the most iconic and authentic hotel at Jubail, he will lead the resort not only to bring hidden aspects of it but also to extend a unique experience that combines Intercontinental Al Jubail resorts lavish history with a modern and trendy twist.
Karim was brought up in New York and is an Egyptian nationality. His early years were filled with travelling and learning about different cultures, visited over 20 countries and has worked in 5 different coutries.
He carries a passion to provide guests with a taste of international luxury.

Karim has worked in some of the most prestigious and celebrated properties in his career span of 23 years. He has gained his experience from Fairmont Hotels, The Ritz Carlton Central Park, Sofitel Legend Old Cataract, Westin Savannah harbor Golf resort & Spa in Philadelphia, The Knickerbocker New York, IHG Dubai festival city complex etc.
Karim has a strong background in Food & Beverage and is known to be a guest satisfaction enthusiast. He led various trainings in past for team and has demonstrated the ability to increase the guest satisfaction scores.
Karim holds a BSC in Hospitality Management at St. John’s University in New York and a senior hospitality leadership program at Cornell University school of hotel administration.
