With this, a total of&nbsp;<strong>77 EarthCheck certified<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihcltata.com\/\"><strong>IHCL<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;hotels have generated significant savings since 2008 by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reducing water consumption by approximately&nbsp;<strong>780,940 kilolitres<\/strong><\/li><li>Reducing greenhouse emissions including approximately<strong>&nbsp;286,006,980<\/strong>&nbsp;kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO<sub>2<\/sub>e)<\/li><li>Saving approximately&nbsp;<strong>1,548,283,817&nbsp;<\/strong>mega joules of energy<\/li><li>Reducing waste sent to landfill by&nbsp;<strong>18,790&nbsp;<\/strong>cubic meters<\/li><li>Establishing&nbsp;<strong>bottling plants<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>15&nbsp;<\/strong>hotels across the globe to eliminate use of single use plastic by replacing all plastic water bottles with reusable glass bottles<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With a long term vision of driving responsible tourism,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihcltata.com\/\"><strong>IHCL<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;has announced its sustainability commitments for the&nbsp;<strong>year 2030<\/strong>&nbsp;under&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihcltata.com\/responsibility\/paathya\/\"><strong>Paathya<\/strong><\/a>.
