She will oversee operations at 17 hotels across the emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These 17 hotels fall under the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoteliermiddleeast.com\/news\/123565-hilton-abu-dhabi-the-crown-jewel-of-yas-bay-opens-for-business\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hilton Hotels &amp; Resorts<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoteliermiddleeast.com\/properties\/doubletree-by-hilton-sharjah-opens-for-business\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DoubleTree by Hilton<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoteliermiddleeast.com\/people\/how-the-landmark-wb-abu-dhabi-will-change-how-hotels-do-entertainment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Curio Collection by Hilton<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoteliermiddleeast.com\/business\/five-things-you-didnt-know-about-canopy-by-hilton-dubai-al-seef\">Canopy by Hilton<\/a>&nbsp;brands. van den Berg will be based in Hilton\u2019s regional Dubai office and report to William Costley, the SVP for the Arabian Peninsula and Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking about her appointment, van den Berg said, \u201cThe world\u2019s attention is on the UAE as the country hosts major events such as Expo 2020 Dubai \u2013 and I am delighted to be joining William and the team at this exciting time.
