{"id":2282,"date":"2022-01-06T11:19:59","date_gmt":"2022-01-06T11:19:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hoteliersweb.com\/News\/?p=2282"},"modified":"2022-01-06T11:19:59","modified_gmt":"2022-01-06T11:19:59","slug":"ihg-seals-four-hotel-destination-resorts-portfolio-deal-with-strategic-partner-sun-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hoteliersweb.com\/News\/articles\/2282","title":{"rendered":"IHG seals four-hotel destination resorts portfolio deal with strategic partner Sun Group"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Vietnam\u2019s first large-scale onsen destination resort at Quang Hanh\u2019s Yoko Park \u2013 and three hotels in Ba Na Hills \u2013 will open in 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ihg.com\/hotels\/gb\/en\/reservation\" target=\"_blank\">IHG Hotels &amp; Resorts<\/a>, one of the world\u2019s leading hospitality companies, is proud to announce a four-hotel, 2,709-room portfolio deal in Vietnam with long-standing partner Sun Hospitality Group (a member of Sun Group), the renowned tourism-focused real estate developer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the success of the award-winning&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.danang.intercontinental.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort<\/a>, the companies will extend their partnership across two world-class, integrated development projects that will open in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The multi-property agreement includes the 616-room&nbsp;<strong>Holiday Inn Resort Yoko Park Onsen<\/strong>&nbsp;in Quang Ninh Province \u2013 the first large-scale hot spring resort in Vietnam, expanding on the existing Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh Resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three hotels highlighting the breadth of IHG\u2019s brand portfolio will also be built as part of the ongoing development of Ba Na Hills in the mountains of Danang: the 602-room&nbsp;<strong>Crowne Plaza Danang Ba Na Hills<\/strong>, 843-room&nbsp;<strong>Holiday Inn Resort Danang Ba Na Hills<\/strong>&nbsp;and 648-room&nbsp;<strong>voco Danang Ba Na Hills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This agreement will make IHG one of the largest international hotel operators in Quang Ninh province, with three properties across its Holiday Inn and InterContinental brands, and establish its footprint as a market leader in Danang with seven hotels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Serena Lim, Vice President, Development, South East Asia and Korea, IHG said<\/strong>: \u201cWe\u2019ve always had a fantastic relationship with Sun Group and are delighted to extend it by working with them on these two fantastic destination resort projects.
