Babita brings with her a unique combination of hotel sales and operations and has recently celebrated the 20-year completion milestone with Marriott International. Having started her career in F&B Operations in Taj and Oberoi hotels in India, Babita subsequently moved into the sales function where her notable achievements include the successful ramp up of the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel and Lakeside Chalet- MEA after the inventory of the hotel was increased by 300 keys. She went on to lead the Market Sales set up for the Marriott Hotels in Mumbai and eventually moved to Shanghai as Director of Sales and Marketing where she was instrumental in the success of the flag ship Marriott City Centre Hotel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Babita relocated to Mumbai as the Hotel Manager at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel and Lakeside Chalet- MEA, the largest Marriott hotel complex in India with 770 rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her last role, Babita led the team of Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport as General Manager for more than four years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Babita has won several awards including \u201cAbove property sales leader of the year 2011- Global, Marriott International\u201d for her leadership as Market Sales leader for Mumbai. She was also part of the executive team that won \u201cHotel of the year\u201d consecutively at Marriott City Centre, Shanghai in 2013 and 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
